These are short journal entries I’ve jotted down for the past month. I’ve wanted to expand them but there’s really no time, so I’m leaving them as-is.

Worth watching.
The thing that shocked me the most is that it’s based on true events. Christopher McCandless existed in real life — Christopher McCandless, who abandoned his identity and took up a trip to redefine himself as a person. The events in the films were derived from anecdotes by people who had met and interacted with him.
It’s really a good thing that Christopher’s story eventually got made into a movie, so that his journey of self-discovery can continue to inspire people for years to come. His experience is as relevant in his time almost 2 decades ago as in this day.
OH, and I almost forgot to mention that Thure Lindhardt is in this film. As the goofiest goof ever.
