Yup, I played Hitman:Blood Money. On easy mode because I have no patience & wanted to get through it quickly. (Imagine some people can get through one mission on pro mode in 10 minutes. One has to know exactly what to do.) I never referred to walkthrough, except for the California one where I saw the gameplay before I bought the game. So I am still proud.

Why did I pick up this game? It’s entirely because of Jesper Kyd. & because it is a Danish game. I want to see what the Danes are up to.

Every mission in this game has something memorable in it. Like in the porn club level 47 got intercepted while trying to get some… That was very disappointing. In actual fact I was trying to see if approaching a call girl would get 47 out of trouble, but it turned out exactly the opposite.

Also, I almost got used to “systematic change of clothing” after the rehab centre mission… & I love my handgun. I hate to have to surrender it at one point.

It is a good game. The concept and method of gameplay are good. The interface could have been more streamlined though; control button menus annoy the socks outta me. Graphics are very last-gen; it’s at best 2002 standard.

Hitman 5? Tough competition! Graphic & interface definitely have to be improved. Map needs to be clearer (like which stairs go up/down) & easier to navigate (easier to flip through). Gameplay needs to be smoother. Voice acting need to be more varied and better.
Being able to climb buildings would definitely add to the fun.

Did I like the game? The game was very stressful for me because being an modern-day assassin is stressful. I had to navigate through unfamiliar terrain with a maze of doors and rooms & everyone biting at my tail. I had at least 3 minor blood baths (killed 15 guards or so) because they kept streaming into the room & I just had to keep shooting until there’s no one left on the particular floor. Hence I got the gangster rating most of the time (only got silent assassin once, during the wedding). I got “hoodlum” once, & I laughed my arse off.

Ass. Creed? I love ass. creed. I mean, I can’t compare these two games, but ass. creed IS for me. The missions are out in the open & if I screw up I could run away & hide, & bloodbaths have no repercussion.
